For some person it seems to come “naturally,” for others it’s more of a challenge. The capacity to perceive the flow of Chi directly—to actually see or feel it—is something that can only be cultivated through training and practice. Start with some basic practices such as Inner-Smile, 6 Healing Sounds and Warm Up Qigong (Chi Kung) and continue until you experience a reaction like heat, tingling or other sensations in your body. As you become more adept, you will become directly aware of the vibratory nature of Chi. You will experience your body as being comprised of patterns and flows of Chi, but also come to understand that “emotions” and “thoughts” are also forms of energy.
